Facts About Quality Supplements

·       The supplements should be manufactured in a GMP certified facility.  GMP stands for good manufacturing practices.  Don’t assume the quality is high just because the company is big.

·       The raw materials used need to be checked for potency and consistency, it should be consistent from batch to batch.

·       It is important that the raw materials be checked for contaminants.  Some examples are pesticides, heavy metals, fungus and bacteria.

·       The tablet needs to disintegrate easily when ingested to realize the benefits.  A disintegration test needs to be performed.

·       The bioavailability of the raw material is important.  If for example the source of minerals in the supplement is in a form the body can’t easily utilize, most of what you are taking is a waste.

·       Claims should be verified with scientific references showing better absorption.  Many companies say their product is better absorbed, but can not provide the scientific evidence to back up the claim.

·       The effectiveness of a formula should be supported by scientific references.  In other words scientific research should verify the reason why specific ingredients are included.

·       It is also important that enough of the active ingredients are present in the formula.  For example if research shows that a daily dosage of 100mg of a specific ingredients produced a certain results and the formula you bought only contained 50mg as the daily dose, it is very unlikely that this formula will produce any results at all.

These are the reasons why the supplements you see on this website are manufactured in GMP certified facilities and you also find the scientific references to verify the benefits.
